INSPIRED BY THE UPCOMING MOVIE SERIES "QUEEN'S KING"
The Queen's King Movement is a powerful symbol of hope for unity within the black community. It was first launched on the weekend of Friday, August 25th, 2023, with two panels of discussions featuring the cast, director, community advocates, and Ft. Lauderdale police officers. These discussions focused on violence, gun violence, and the disunity within the black community. The weekend continued with the screening of the movie "Queen's King" at Silverspot Cinema on Saturday, August 26th, 2023, followed by an after-party to conclude the celebration of "The Queen's King Movement Weekend Experience!"
SPREADING A MESSAGE OF HOPE FOR UNITY USING THE MOVIE SERIES AND THE "QUEEN'S KING APPAREL"
To show love and support towards "The Queen's King Movement Weekend Experience," to help spread the message of hope for unity throughout the black community, and to demonstrate Lunerversal Production’s commitment to promoting positive change within the black community, we showed up as a community wearing the “Queen’s King” hoodie for the premiere. We stand together in unity not only to celebrate the movie, which commemorates 50 years of Hip-Hop, but also to stand against violence, gun violence, and disunity! Using the movie series and the Queen's King Apparel brand aims to become a global movement to encourage and inspire people of color to come together.
